On June 27, 2017 After a series of appeals New Jersey's case was brought to the Supreme Court of the United States . On June 27, 2017 the court accepted the case of ''Murphy v. National Collegiate Athletic Association''. On May 14After hearing oral arguments on December 4, 2017, 2018 the court ruled that PASPA was unconstitutionalunconstituional on May 14, allowing 2018. Going forward states are now allowed to enforce their own sports betting laws.
